This means your teeth are shifting as planned.

Most of our patients say they barely notice the trays after the first few days.

You should wear your Invisalign trays 20–22 hours per day.

Only remove them for:

• Eating or drinking (besides water)
• Brushing and flossing
• Cleaning the trays

Inconsistent wear can delay results, so we recommend creating a routine during the first week to build the habit.

To keep your aligners fresh and invisible:

• Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water
• Avoid toothpaste – it causes tiny scratches
• Never use hot water – it may warp the plastic
• Store trays in your Invisalign case when not in use

No. Invisalign trays are designed to move teeth, not to absorb grinding forces (bruxism).
If you grind or clench your teeth at night:

• We may create a custom nightguard after treatment
• Or we may adjust your plan to integrate one

Using Invisalign trays for grinding can damage them and alter your treatment.

Invisalign attachments are small, tooth-colored bumps placed on certain teeth.
They act as “handles” that help your aligners apply pressure to move your teeth more precisely.
